Power Point Step by Step

        1.  Start by locating Power Point and opening it.

        2.  Choose a blank presentation.

        3.  Choose a slide format for your first slide. Probably you would    want to choose the first auto slide so you can title your                presentation.

   4.  Click on the text box and type your title.

   5.  Click on the next text box and type your information you want there.

   6.  Choose a background for your slide by right clicking on it.

   7.  Choose Apply Design from the menu. Choose your design and click on apply, to apply to that slide only, or Apply to all, to choose all slides to follow.

   8.  To animate your slide, right click on the boxes you wrote in.

   9.  Choose Custom Animation. Select your animation type. Add sound at this time also, if you desire. Choose OK.

        10. Continue this process for all slides. To get a new slide go to insert and new slide.

        11. You can choose different types of slides.

        12. If you choose a clip art slide, add clip art by double clicking on the icon and choosing a picture.

        13. If you want to add your own picture, choose the blank slide.

        14. To add wav. music to the background download a wav. from the Internet or one of your files.

        15. From the menu bar choose Movies and sound, and then choose Sound from file.

        16. Select your music and press OK.

        17. You can decide the length of the wav. by right clicking on it and going to custom animation. Choose the number of slides you want it to play for.
