No Icon= auto flash
Black box with lightening bolt= forced flash
Circle with lightening bolt and line across= no flash

Exposure

“-EV”: To lower the exposure value or darken the picture
“+EV”: To raise the exposure value or lighten the picture

Format a disk

Use the control button to select “Menu” Press
Use the control button to select “disk tool” Press
Select “Format” Press

Recording Images:

Set Play/Camera to “Camera”
Press down shutter button- message should appear stating image is being recorded.

Playing back Images:

Set Play/Camera to “Play”
Use arrow keys to move through images OR
Select “Index” to view several pictures at one time (You can use arrow keys and press control button to view any image up close)

From Play menu you can:

Delete images on disk

Camera Mode Menu:

Record Menu :

Normal- records JPEG
E-mail- records compressed files (1/4 size)
BITMAP- Non-compressed files (good for fine details)
MULTI- continuous recording mode. In this mode, Images are continuously recorded as 1 file each at a rate of about 1 every 0.25 seconds.

Picture Effect

Neg. Art: The color and brightness of the picture is reversed
Sepia: The picture is sepia
B & W: Picture is black and white
Solarize: The light intensity is more clear, and the picture looks like an illustration

Scanning "How to"

1. Open the scan program that is connected to the computer. Have your picture in the scanner .

2. Scan the picture and save it in the appropriate file. Be sure to save it as a jpg file

3. Use the Photo Editor to make any necessary changes in the picture.

4. Save it and you can paste it in word or wherever you want to use it.

5. You have what you need.
